A List of Sorts

I like Bethany's style of listing absurd things that have happened to her in the span of a few days or hours. Here goes mine:

*Saturday morning I walked into the kitchen to discover dog blood all over the floor. I then look out side and see Bungy burying a squirrel. Dog blood turns into squirrel blood and freaking out ensues. Upon further inspection realize blood is dog blood and said squirrel got in one last swipe before death. PS What's up with my killer dog?

*On Sunday, Reagan and I went out for drive in our new truck. We thought it the perfect opportunity to let our Texas roots show and let Bungy cruise in the bed of the truck. That was until Bungy fell out of the bed onto his head where he cracked a tooth and got lots of road rash. PS Bungy is fine. We were on my parents farm when it happened and barely driving 1 mph. After calls to the emergency vet, we were given the clear to wait to get a cheaper appointment with our regular vet.

*Monday was blissfully uneventful.

*Tuesday was the vet appointment. Bungy is more than fine. He weighs 81 lbs!! Upon driving home from the vet, the new truck stops going, on a hill, during after school rush hour. Picture me in the front seat with a big belly hitting the steering wheel with a killer dog squirming around next to me. Killer dog showed a slight interest in taking out a cop. Reagan comes to rescue me only to discover the car is not broke down but merely out of gas.

*Wednesday and Thursday, Reagan has been on his deathbed with killer allergies and has quarantined himself in the guest room. I have been left to fend for myself and the dog and my belly. WAH!

Today is Friday and hopefully the excitement of the week is over. I'm ready for a nice relaxing weekend...

Wow, Bungy sounds like he's had a rough week!

Hey...10 more weeks left. You're 3/4 of the way there. Yes, you're going to be tired and sore and hungry and your belly is going to hurt...but you're going to have a baby in 10 weeks and none of it will matter.

I couldn't wait to get through the last part of my pregnancy and then, when I new it would be over within days, I got so sad.

Activities to keep your mind off things: carseat, labor bag, massage, birthing document (see email from me).

Bethany is right. Once Melita is here safe and sound you will not care how miserable being pregnant was at the end.

Your baby will be 100% worth every ache, pain, and trips to the loo.

Count yourself lucky they will not let you go to 42 weeks in the USA!

Hang in there :)
