Breakfast at Friesenhaus

Yesterday was monumental in a few ways. It was May 18. Which is V's 11-month milestone. I got to see Bethany, Dave, V, Alison, Isla, Sean, & Rhea for breakfast. All of whom I have known for ages and like very much. And it was my own personal goal day to give birth. I'm still pregnant, so that little goal didn't work out to my advantage at all. However, upon waking up this morning we noticed that Melita has dropped a little more and I am having a bit more contractions today. So, a little more progress has been made. I'm still hoping she comes sooner rather than later, but I think she might be a little stubborn like her mother. My new goal is that she arrive before May 25 while Alison and Isla are still in country so they get to meet her. But there is no pressure, Melita. Come whenever you're ready. (Here's hoping reverse psychology really works.)

Alison and Bethany, it was fantastic to see you both! I can't wait to share many more group outings together with our daughters. I love you girls!
